The Royal Society of Chemistry Law Group committee gains a new member22nd April 2015
Sophie Arrowsmith, a solicitor in the commercial team at Hamlins has been appointed to the committee of the Law Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
The Law Group is one of the RSC’s many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC’s strategy and charter.
The mission of the Law Group is to encourage any individual having both a qualification as a legal practitioner or an interest in the law and a background or interest in chemistry to be involved with the activities of the RSC.
Commenting on the appointment, Sophie said “I originally studied Chemistry at Imperial College and my dual expertise aids me in helping clients grow and develop their businesses. It is a very positive and rewarding area of law.”
