Peter Jordan appointed Head of Lender Services7th May 2014
Peter Jordan, who joined Hamlins as a Partner in January 2014, has been appointed as Head of Lender Services. Peter has over 20 years’ experience within Lender Services. He has worked for a variety of lenders and financial institutions and is cited as having ‘an unrivalled and in-depth knowledge’ of both the regulatory and legal issues facing the industry. As a result Peter is frequently asked to present at industry seminars and events, as well as making regular contributions to debate in the press.
Keith Roffey has stepped down from his role as Head of Lender Services to take up a new position as a Consultant to the firm. Keith’s long standing commitment and success, which amounts to 21 years’ service, was celebrated last week by a dinner held to mark his retirement with Partners, staff, Hamlins Alumni and friends of the firm.
During his time at Hamlins Keith built an enviable reputation for specialising in complex cases for lenders, acting for both large and small lenders. His status within the industry led to him assisting the Ministry of Justice and HM Court Service with the implementation of PCOL, lecturing extensively on the subject. His continued role as a Consultant will retain Keith’s knowledge and skills within Lender Services.
Managing Partner Nigel Mason commented ‘We are delighted that Keith is remaining as a Consultant to the firm, however we are equally happy that the department is being left in the very capable hands of Peter Jordan. Keith and Peter have known each other for a number of years, having both forged successful careers in the Lender Services industry. Peter is a natural successor to Keith, and has built a sustained and noteworthy reputation. They have been working closely together to ensure a seamless period of transition and will continue to do so.’
