Amy Chan

Amy is an Associate in the Lender Services Department.

Amy has a broad range of experience in lender services litigation, including residential and commercial mortgage repossession cases, mortgage shortfall matters, Director’s guarantees and Consumer Credit Act matters. Her clients include major banks, building societies and lenders. She regularly provides advice on compliance and regulatory issues.

In addition, Amy undertakes a variety of recovery work, including statutory demands, bankruptcy petitions, county court judgments and enforcement action including charging orders and writs of control. Amy also has experience in Appeals and LPA Receiverships.

She joined Hamlins in 2016 from Shoosmiths where she worked in its Secured and Commercial Lending Recoveries Team within the Recoveries Services Group. She advised clients on complex and defended matters.

Amy also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
