Operation Golding, Mirror Group phone hacking claims now underway12th June 2014
Operation Golding, the MPS investigation into Dan Evans’ phone-hacking activities at Mirror Group Newspapers, will be heard at Trial in February 2015. Mirror Group Newspapers publishes the Daily Mirror, the Sunday Mirror and the People.
Hamlins team of phonehacking lawyers are about to issue claims for compensation on several cases that concern the Mirror.
Operation Golding overlaps with Operation Pinetree – the latter of which concerns Dan Evans’ phone-hacking activities at the News of the World features department – because Dan Evans moved from the Mirror Group to the News of the World. Phone-hacking victims are now being notified under Operation Golding.
