Hamlins teams achieve success in The Legal 500 201330th September 2013
Hamlins is delighted to announce that teams across the firm once again achieved notable tier placements in this years Legal 500, one of the two leading directories of legal services.
The firm’s Corporate, Brand Management and Defamation & Privacy teams all featured once again with Daniel Bellau, Ian Down and Christopher Hutchings attracting praise in the editorial sections respectively, with Daniel being described as the ‘figure to note’ and Christopher as having ‘dogged determination’ and ‘sound judgment’.
The Real Estate team achieved particular success achieving a three band improvement from band 6 to band 3, with commendation for Nigel Mason and Mark Hurst. The Media and Entertainment team continues to achieve a strong recommendation with Laurence Gilmore and Philip Herbert being commended. The directory also took note of new joiners Matthew Pryke (Media and IT) and Michael Clinch (Commercial Litigation).
The newly created Travel section featured the Hamlins Travel team who achieved a second tier placement. Laura Harcombe, who leads the team is described as having ‘wealth of experience in the travel industry’, and ‘vast, in-depth understanding of the sector’.
Two of the firm’s partners were named as Elite Lawyers in the leading individual tables, Laurence Gilmore for Media & Entertainment and Laura Harcombe for Travel.
