Hayley Devlin

Solicitor

Hayley is a solicitor in our EMIP Department. She joined Hamlins in 2002 having obtained a Distinction in her LPC from the College of Law. Hayley's practice covers all aspects of IP protection with an emphasis on assisting clients particularly in the fashion industry to bring and defend claims for infringement of design right, copyright and trade mark, and for passing off. Hayley also has extensive experience of assisting TV, film and music clients with the exploitation of their brands and anti piracy operations. Hayley's wider practice includes domain name disputes, clearance work and general commercial litigation. Hayley is a regular contributor and commentator on IP matters to external forums and recently co-wrote with Philip Herbert a chapter in the UK Intellectual Property Office endorsed ‘Handbook of European Brand Rights Management’. Hayley is a member of the firm's Marketing Committee and of the Junior IP Practitioner's Society.
