The award ceremony was held at a dinner at the Dorchester Hotel in London on 8th March when awards were presented for the following:
- Best Company - Mitchells and Butlers
- Best Concept - Strada & Wagamama (Joint winners)
- Best Emerging Concept - Project S
- Best Venue - Malmasion, Oxford
- Deal of the Year - Wagamama
- Investor of the Year - Punch Taverns
- Turnaround Brand of the Year - Est Est Est
- Rising Star - Henry Dimbleby , John Vincent - Leon Restaurants
- The Retailers' Retailer of the Year - Tony Hughes
The best new concept was presented by Nigel Mason, partner at Hamlins, to Leon for their innovative healthy take-way concept. Leon is run by John Vincent and Henry Dimbleby, son of TV presenter Richard Dimbleby

These awards are organised each year in conjunction with the M&C Magazine and are a recognised industry standard of excellence. Hamlins was approached to be a co-sponsor because of its position as one of the leading leisure law firms with numerous well-know brands among its clients.
