A Quartet of New Recruits

In order to keep up with our ever expanding caseload, Hamlins is pleased to welcome four new recruits to the team.


Judith Lowe is Manager of the Repossession Sales Department and is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. Having started her career in private practice, Judith moved to the conveyancing division of Countrywide plc where she held a series of senior posts managing teams dealing with all aspects of high volume residential conveyancing and re-mortgage work.


Ashley Blake is a Solicitor in the Entertainment, Marketing and IP Department. He obtained an LLB degree at the University of Birmingham and was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Law from King's College, London. Ashley qualified in 2004 and joined Hamlins in August 2007 from the in-house department of Modern Times Group MTG AB. He has also worked as an in-house Legal Adviser to The Financial Times newspaper. His areas of specialist practice are trade marks, gaming, lotteries and betting, licensing and merchandising and marketing, sales, promotion and sponsorship


Stacey Dutton is a New Zealand qualified lawyer in the Company Commercial Department. She joined Hamlins in June 2007 having obtained a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2002. Stacey qualified as a solicitor in New Zealand in October 2002. She has experience in company commercial, banking and finance and business contracts. Her specialist practice areas are company and commercial, banking and finance and business contracts.


Charles Maxwell is a solicitor in the Commercial Property Department. He joined Hamlins in March 2007 having obtained an LLP at Kings College, London in 2001. Charles qualified as a solicitor in 2006. He has experience in landlord and tenant, acquisitions and disposals, and business lease renewals. His areas of special practice are commercial property transactions, landlord and tenant and business leases.
